The Temple in June

For the past few years, the Boston Temple has been having repair work done on the side (pipes in the ground, that sort of thing), so it's been all fenced off. I hadn't been back there for years because of it. So one day when I was there last month I was delighted to discover that the work was finally done and that you could once again walk around the side of the temple, which I of course proceeded to do! 😊

Benches are always nice.

This is where the far end of the celestial room is, at the back of the temple. It's so beautiful and peaceful in there. I have experienced (and continue to experience) some very special things in that room.

What's up, Moroni? (You are! Ha ha.)

A week later, I was back at the temple in the evening with John and Sam for a youth baptism trip. It was very well-attended, as you can see (and this picture doesn't even include all of them who were there!). Our ward has a strong youth program that my boys are thriving in.

A good quote from President Nelson, plus that's the Boston Temple! As I like to say, it's one of my favorite places on earth that also brings me closest to heaven. 🤍
