Wisdom, Humor, and Inspiration in July

I find myself often working on being more mindful. It's a better way to live life.

This is a beautiful and significant promise. And it's true, too.

Meredith sent me this on the 4th of July 😆

What are we going to do with them?

This is clever and helpful. It's meant for kids, but applies to everyone.

This kind of thinking helps me when I'm feeling anxious or discouraged about something.

I am all of these things and more. 😁😂

This is another super-helpful thing I found for anxiety and nerves.

I came across this in a book I read in July and it really resonated with me. I had at least two things in July that I had to face my fear over (a big job interview, and a public speaking assignment--at my first-ever single adult activity, no less!). I did this exercise for both of them, and it really helped. So I continue to use it. It helps me calm down when I'm getting ruffled up about something that scares me or that I'm insecure about.

😆

These Barbie memes for Anne of Green Gables cracked me up!

😂😂😂

So funny!
I need to watch Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Avonlea again soon. It's been too long!

This is my favorite type of owl.

Great financial advice...
As a newly divorced single woman and mom who is learning how to manage her money and income on her own, this applies to me now more than ever before.

✔✔✔
Not to toot my own horn, but I'm pretty good at a lot of these (most of the time).

Oh, the irony. I turned 43 at the end of July!
I will say that I feel at least a decade younger than 43. Ever since my early twenties, I've felt younger than I am.
Yesterday, someone made my day (maybe my week, maybe my month) when they said they thought I was 27. They were shocked that I was 43 and had a kid in college. I appreciated their shock. 😊

Ben Shapiro hated the Barbie movie. 😆
I saw it, and I liked it more than I thought I would.

Here's Ben Shapiro again, about something a little more profound. Sex + marriage is by far the best way to do it (pun intended).
