Crazy Times Scrapbook, July 2023

July was a busy month in which I wasn't as focused on the news, so this is another shorter-than-usual Crazy Times post.

"Government and social media companies colluded to stifle dissenters who turned out to be right."
It's outrageous that this happened, and it's still happening. It makes me so angry.

😡😡😡

"The U.S. government spent $6 TRILLION to buoy its shuttered economy, and most people got Covid anyway. Worst of all, the lockdowns and mandates resulted in unprecedented bad health outcomes for young and middle-aged people in rich countries."

I'm so glad The Wall Street Journal and other responsible news outlets are reporting on these things. I hope it will help prevent it all from happening again.

I think time will show that Trump was and is right about a lot of the things he's been saying. The indictments prove one of his main points about the corruption of the "swamp," which I believe is very real and which unfortunately has stopped draining. And don't tell me that the Clintons and the Bidens haven't broken any laws that are much more serious than any that Trump allegedly broke, yet nothing happens to them.

This was a joke from the Babylon Bee, but the really funny thing about it is that in light of the indictments that have happened since July, it's proven to be true. What's happening to Trump is yet another outrage, but it's only making his support go up!
