For the last few months I've been walking a path in the woods down the street from my house for most of my exercise. I love this path; it's peaceful and pretty and easy to walk to and the whole walk total to and from my front door takes about 35 minutes. I get fresh air and Vitamin D and a pretty decent cardio workout, and my forest therapy. I'm finding that things in life always feel better during and after a good walk in the woods.
The trail ends at the back of these athletic fields. I used to play softball here!
This is the view going back into the woods from the fields. "Into the woods!"
And several minutes later, out of the woods, and into the field bordering the lake at the end of my street.
I love where I live, and I'll always love going for walks in the woods. 💚
