Sinful Eating Versus Virtuous Eating

Peter went on a business trip to Las Vegas and brought us back these "Sin City Suckers."
(Clever!)

The very next picture I happened to take was of a veggie plate that I was snacking from. I like getting these from the grocery store because it's one of the only ways I can get myself to eat fresh vegetables. I'm too efficient/lazy to cut up veggies on my own. When it's already done for me, I'll eat 'em right up!

The contrast between the two pictures was funny to me. They symbolize the struggle I often feel between choosing to eat "sinfully" or "virtuously."

Here's another example from my camera roll. One of my favorite dinners to make is pictured below: tilapia fillets brushed with olive oil and sprinkled with a special seafood spice blend that we get on the Cape, mashed potatoes, and vegetables. Yum, yum, yum!

And here we are at The Cheesecake Factory enjoying some very indulgent desserts that were sinfully delicious!

As with most things in life, there should be balance when it comes to nutrition. In my opinion, eating virtuously often and sinfully sometimes is an ideal balance to strike. It really does give the best of both worlds!
