A Cat's Life

Sometimes I wish I were a cat. This is what they can spend all day doing, if they so desire. What a life!

No responsibilities, no nagging To Do list, no serious matters to deal with, just plain old relaxing and living life. Someday, I'm going to try living like a cat for a week, simply sleeping, eating, and grooming myself. Maybe for leisure I'll throw in some reading time instead of chasing bugs around. It sounds like a pretty ideal life to me, at least for a little while. I wish I could do it right now!

Yes, I could use that too!

Well...you forgot chasing the mice & the snakes. You only get to lay around if you chase, catch, & eat those pests!

Yeah right! Those things would definitely NOT be included in my Cat's Life Experiment. After all, I don't literally want to live like a cat in every way. Only the best ways!

I really love your couch from that last photo, Donna. And where was that lovely opening photo of you taken at the top? It looks very British-sitting-room-esque :-)

I love that couch too. It's a patio loveseat. When I saw it at Target I simply had to get it (which turned out to be easier said than done!). I'll write a post sometime soon about making over our patio when I finish it up.
That photo of me was taken last month in our room at the Bed & Breakfast we stayed in in Portsmouth, NH. It was an old-fashioned room, dating from 1820. I like how the wallpaper of the room matches the background wallpaper on my blog. I didn't notice that until I got home and was going through the photos from the trip on my computer. Thanks for noticing!
