Crazy Times Scrapbook, November 2022

😆👍

The irony!

Biden's mental problems aren't funny, they're worrisome and sad.

I have mixed feelings about Trump running for president again. I don't love it but I don't hate it either.

"The study...shows that the risk of serious adverse events from the vaccines is greater than the risk of being hospitalized from COVID-19." This is one of the reasons why I haven't gotten the shots.

I hope inflation has peaked, but I remain skeptical about that.

This is such a good point. Disappointing results for Republicans in the midterms was worth it for the number of babies' lives that were saved as a result of the Dobbs decision.

Hooray for Candace Cameron Bure and the Great American Family Channel!
And for Republicans clinching control of the House!

I trust in my God-given immune system that works well because I take good care of myself more than I trust in the arm of flesh. No pun intended (you know, because of vaccines 😆).

"...vaccines achieved a tiny fraction of the benefit conferred by clean water, public and household sanitation, and hand washing."

100%!

That's not suspicious...

"Macron's words are sure to confuse the 'fact checker' industry, which continues to insist that claims about the 'New World Order' or one world government are a baseless conspiracy theory."

This was a really interesting article about a woman who had transitioned to being a transgender man and then transitioned back to being a woman after realizing she'd done the wrong thing for all the wrong reasons. I've been seeing more and more stories like these in the news.

I've long been a big believer in limited and conditional government assistance, and this is one of the reasons why.

My kids and I still haven't gotten Covid, at least not as far as we know. Knock on wood!

I understand why the Church supports the Respect for Marriage Act for the reasons given below. Also, the Church has to protect itself and what happens in our temples, and this is a way of doing that.

That's a massive amount of death benefits paid out last year.
I'm thankful to be cognizant of the "crazy times" we're living in, and to feel pretty well-prepared to deal with them. I'm also thankful for what I believe they signify--the impending return of Jesus Christ to the earth!
