Forest Therapy

I've said it before and I'll say it again: I love the woods near my house and their wonderful meandering walking paths through beautiful deep forest. Walking in these woods is good for my health and good for my soul. Especially on a mild and lovely fall day like this day was. I was going through some stressful, life-changing things with the divorce, and this was a good way to decompress. The temple and the woods are two of my favorite sources for comfort and direction, and they never let me down.

I mean, does it get any more picturesque than this? 😍

The low stone walls of New England are one of my long-time favorite things.

They're so historic. And they're just sitting there in our woods and along our roads! I think it's the coolest thing.

There's a nice meadow that one of the trails opens out on before going back into woods. Sometime I'd like to bring a picnic lunch or dinner here and feast away in the beauty of nature.

That is one huge brush pile!

Do you like how I framed myself for this picture? I do. 😄

"I took a walk in the woods, and came out taller than the trees."
