The Garden in July

The garden was doing pretty well in July, despite (or perhaps because of πŸ˜„) my absence. Elizabeth took care of it for me while I was gone.

The beans were looking pretty good.

The tomato plants had grown so high! I wasn't expecting them to be this high, but the last time I grew tomatoes they were in the ground, so I should have taken the significant height difference between ground and raised bed into account! Anyway, I was pleased with their growth and I was looking forward to a hopefully good crop of garden-fresh tomatoes.

The cucumber plants were looking promising too. Look at those yellow flowers!

And there's a cuke!

The peas were pretty much dead. Nothing grew from them. I think I trellised them too late. Sorry, peas. 😌
