The Vagaries of Spring

 One of the reliable things about April in New England is that you can always count on it to be unreliable when it comes to the weather! 

Overall it was a chillier than usual spring, but the blossoms still bloomed and the spring flowers popped out. There was one surprising (but not that surprising) incidence of snowfall in the middle of the month, and then it was back to normal. At least as normal as spring can get. 

I love this tree in the front yard. It only looks like this for a few weeks each year.

It actually accumulated a bit!



But the good thing about snow in spring is that it never lasts long.
