Crazy Times Scrapbook, December 2020

 Happy Inauguration Day 😭

I hope Biden will exceed my expectations. But I'm not holding my breath. 😕

And #sorrynotsorry but I still think the votes were played around with and that it's quite possible that Trump actually won.
It's crazy that I have to worry now about posting pro-Trump stuff on my blog. America is certainly changing, and it's not for the better. I wonder if it's only a matter of time that my blog gets shut down or censored. But unless/until that happens I'll go on writing about whatever I want. This is my little piece of the internet that I pay for. And besides, it's a free country, right? RIGHT!? Well, it used to be anyway.

Election reform is desperately needed.

"California...has experienced its worst-ever year for wildfires."

"There is no reason we can't show compassion for a transgender student in the schools without indoctrinating an entire population in gender confusion." 100% yes!

Communist China is evil and the Chinese Communist Party should be eviscerated from the earth for the horrible human rights abuses that it continues to perpetuate (among other things).
"China is one of the world's worst abusers of religious liberty. What makes China's repression especially repugnant is the heavy involvement of the highest levels of government. Whether it is Christians, Tibetan Buddhists, Falun Gong or Uighur Muslims, the government attacks religious freedom in pursuit of absolute power."

Why doesn't this pope do more to speak out against evil in the world? I remain highly suspicious of him.

Big tech went from "fact checking" in December to outright censorship in January.

Stop the shutdowns!

I've always liked this quote from Lord of the Rings.

"It's safe to conclude that for people under 70 without chronic conditions--especially children and young adults--Covid-19 is far less deadly than a lockdown. For children, the cessation of in-person schooling has led to severe learning losses, which are predicted to shorten the lifespans of affected students..."

"For the vulnerable, the vaccine will protect against Covid. For the less vulnerable, the vaccine will protect against lockdown torture."

Why is the government ignoring the effectiveness of Ivermectin?

China at it again.
This was a very thoughtful editorial written by a black man in The WSJ.

On my table at Panera.

Happy New Year 😖
