The Antics of Sam

Sam was dressed up (in church pants that had become too short and white athletic socks instead of black dress socks, but who cares! ✋) for me to record him playing two pieces for his virtual piano recital.

Neighbor friends are nice because there's no driving or scheduling of "play dates" involved. (Sam no longer likes it when I use that term. ๐Ÿ˜„)

We bought this Iron Man/Avengers glove with infinity stones last summer but it wasn't until this summer that I (that's right, it was me!) figured out that it lights up! ๐Ÿ˜‚

Sam FaceTimed me and made his head into an owl. Needless to say, I was delighted!

He also sent me some funny texts.
"Me rn (right now) because I have to do P.E." ๐Ÿ˜‚ He didn't enjoy the at-home P.E. lessons.

He was trying to get me to buy him something for Roblox.
"Me rn cause u won't by it" ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Rolling around on the big watermelon beach ball during screen-free time. It looks like pretty good exercise!

Planking!

The poster he made for the car parade past the teachers for the last day of school. ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿงก

Filling in the answers for his traditional last-day-of-school interview.

Joining me poolside.

Lots of owls this time!

He wanted to try Hot Pockets because of ads he saw on YouTube. This was his first time having one and I had to document it. Insert multiple Jim Gaffigan jokes about Hot Pockets here. ๐Ÿ˜‚

He liked it! I liked them too at that age.

He made his own Thor hammer. I thought he did a good job with it. He's my creative little Martha Stewart. ๐Ÿ˜€

I love my little boy so much!
