We've been fortunate that neither of our kids has ever broken or sprained any of their bones or had any serious injuries, especially given that we're fans of bounce house places and climbing gyms and other potential danger zones like that. But last summer, John somehow pulled a muscle one of the times we were at the Cape Cod Inflatable Park and he ended up getting a big crick in his neck for a couple of days and he couldn't move his head around normally. He was fine, it was just uncomfortable for him.
And I have to say that it was pretty funny for me! (#motheroftheyear)
Check out these otherwise lovely beach pictures. John's head is sticking out like a sore thumb.
It was so funny, and it still makes me laugh today. 😂
This series of photos is particularly enjoyable...
The poor kid couldn't even stand normally with his arms at his sides!
He had a sense of humor about it and knew that he looked kind of ridiculous.
Other than that, it was a beautiful low-tide afternoon at the beach.
At least Sam didn't have a pain in the neck!
