A Beautiful, Stormy Montana Sunset

For our last night in Montana, we spent the night at David's childhood home in Missoula before our flight home the next morning. That evening, we walked partway up a big hill called "Mount Jumbo" behind his home as a storm was rolling in at sunset. With the storm and sunset combined, the views turned out to be even more amazing than they would have been otherwise.

David's father was a professor at the University of Montana, and that's where David went for his bachelor's degree. That's what a lot of the buildings are in this picture.

This was the storm rolling in. It was neat how you could see it in the distance like this, and how it got increasingly more pink with the sunset and the intensity of the storm.

And here we were before we had to walk back to his house so that we didn't get blown away by the wind 😆

And here's a great picture that David took. He's a good photographer!

It was a memorable evening. Especially because we'd gotten engaged only a few hours earlier!
