John's final wrestling banquet of high school was last month. {Do they do banquets for sports in college? I don't know because I wasn't a college athlete! I guess I'll find out through John.} Anyway, on to the banquet!
There was a cool photo cake.
The team was the biggest it had ever been, at least as far as John's time in high school went.
All of the seniors gave a speech. John didn't write his out and spoke from the heart and he did a good job. I don't know how he doesn't get nervous about these kinds of things!

Adam, Jack, and John are good friends and have had a lot of fun together in high school. Their sense of humor with each other cracks me up.
It doesn't seem like all that long ago that I'd take turns driving them to and from their club practices in Natick before any of them could drive! 😭

John won the "Hiller Grinder" award. Very fitting!
He was also named a Tri-Valley League All-Star, which is a great accomplishment and was one of his goals for the season. 🙌
