I liked that we had a much more classic New England winter this year. What I haven't liked is the long, chilly spring that has followed, with only a few nice, warmer days thrown in here and there. I'm really looking forward to the return of warm weather this month (famous last words 😄).
Beginning of March
Look closely: the branches are ice-encrusted.
During March
My page-a-day calendar was trying...
But these types of scenes continued to stream from YouTube...
Not.
David started working on his bees for the upcoming spring (whenever it was to arrive).
Look at the detail! The fuzz on the legs, the delicate veins(?) in the wings. Nature is beautiful.
End of March
These pictures are from my first springtime walk through the woods. It was cool out, but not cold, and the snow and ice were long gone. Progress!
It's now one week into May, and, although it was 80 degrees out two days ago, it's currently 56 out, and I'm wearing my down vest. Spring is being such a tease this year! That rascal.
