Hey, Hey, It's Volcano Bay

Volcano Bay was fun and it's a great waterpark, but it would have been more fun if it had been hotter out. I don't enjoy outdoor waterparks as much when it's not hot out. Bring on the blazes!

Now there's a good volcano view! (I'm looking at you again, bogus "volcano view" room!)

I love this picture of the boys!

I went on a few of the big slides with the boys when we got there to get it over with. I like most waterslides but I don't love them and since it wasn't hot out, I wasn't very keen on getting wet.

If you think ride pics are unflattering, waterslide pics are even worse! ๐Ÿ˜†
In related news, I love my new swim shorts!

Look at me! And my hair! I was afraid it was going to fly off! ๐Ÿ˜‚
This aqua coaster is SO FUN! It's my favorite thing at Volcano Bay.

Here's Sam shooting out of a slide!

There would have been more slide pics but John's bracelet wasn't working and he was the one who went on the most!

I was tired that day and not feeling the best, and it got worse as the day went on. I really wondered for the first time if I might finally have gotten Covid because I was so tired all of a sudden, even too tired to read my book or look at my phone. It lasted all day and got worse as the day went on, but thankfully I was back to my normal self the next day and I felt fine for the rest of the trip. I don't know what was up that day but I was at the best park for it to happen at because I could just lay on my beach chair and rest for a lot of the day instead of having to walk around a huge park and go on rides.

That's our hotel in the distance, and there are my toes peeking out of the towel.

I was a little worried about my hair getting so wet but it was a champ and it was fine. It was pretty poofy for the next few days though. I'm finally finding out what it's like to have normal hair, and I love it!.

Break time for the bros. We ate a tasty lunch on our beach chairs and Sam even gave John a neck massage! And John let him! Miracles all around.

Me too, Sam. Me too. ๐Ÿ˜ด

We went back to Volcano Bay on our last full day of the trip for a couple of hours in the evening. I didn't even wear my swimsuit because I just wanted to chill out and read, which I had the energy to do this time!

It was a good way to wrap up a fun and memorable family vacation!
