My first review of the year

it was ok
I like Ruth Ware but this was pretty disappointing. The technology details with the fictional app were weird, there were too many characters to keep track of, the overuse of offensive profanity bothered me, the P.C. stuff was dumb, and the story took awhile to pick up, and even then, it ended with a whimper. Plus I hate skiing, so I couldn't relate to that at all, but that's a matter of personal preference; if it were a really good story, I would ...more

I'm glad that one of my favorite childhood authors is still writing, and I continue to enjoy reading her books as an adult. This one was fun but pretty weird and silly. It's a must-read for cat lovers and gives new meaning to "crazy cat lady." Ha ha. ...more
