The Beauties of Nature in April

April is always an interesting month in New England with its weather-related fickleness—wintry one day and spring-like and blooming another. I'm happy to report that, overall, April was a pleasant month in Massachusetts this year, with more blossoms than snow and cold weather.

I like snow from November to March, but not so much in April. It's more of a nuisance than a beauty, then!

I didn't get great pictures of it, but there was a rainbow in the sky on the way to the temple.

I love magnolia trees! This was on Marathon Monday at the entrance to my neighborhood.

A pretty sunset in my neighborhood (right above where I'll be moving in a few weeks!)

More neighborhood blossoms during a walk

This picture doesn't quite capture the delicate beauty of these purplish, lacy little blooms.

Popcorn popping!

There was a pretty sunset one evening when I was driving home from the church, but pictures taken from the car of the sky don't usually turn out all that well. I tried!

I liked the contrast of the green and white against the vibrant blue of the sky

I love these trees for the couple of weeks they're in bloom like this! 😍😍😍
