My Top Five Favorite Christmas Songs

This list was so hard! I like almost all Christmas music and there are very few songs and renditions that I don't like. One of my favorite things about the Christmas season is the music. I had to make two separate categories because otherwise I was going to be leaving out too many beloved favorites. So, I give you...

My Top Five Favorite Hymnal or Classical Christmas Songs

1. Hark! The Herald Angels Sing

2. Oh, Come, All Ye Faithful

3. Joy to the World

4. The Nutcracker by Tchaikovsky

5. Carol of the Bells. Particularly the version done by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

My Top Five Six Favorite Pop Christmas Songs
I had to make it six because I couldn't leave any of these out!

1. Sleigh Ride. I'm convinced that this is one of the happiest and most festive songs in existence!

2. It's The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

3. Let It Snow! Especially the one by Dean Martin.

4. White Christmas. " " Bing Crosby

5. Winter Wonderland

6. It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas

And I must give honorable mentions to the following:
Deck the Halls (it's so fun to sing!)
We Wish You a Merry Christmas (this one is fun to sing too)
Jingle Bells (yeah, this one too, and it's so classic)
Auld Lang Syne (it makes me feel nostalgic for a time in which I didn't even live)
Handel's Messiah

This was fun! Now I'm going to have these songs stuck in my head all day. That's just fine with me!
What are some of your favorite Christmas songs?
